About New 4.5" Thorens/Reuge Compatible
Music Box Discs

Our new serrated-edge discs for Thorens/Reuge 4.5" music boxes are manufactured and tested one disc at a time in our Peterborough NH shop. The discs are made of highest quality tempered steel, nickel-electroplated for superior corrosion protection. The front (label) side of each disc is polished to a shine, the reverse side is not. As with all our discs, they are punched with uncompromised accuracy.

The music for our discs derives from several sources: Many of our discs feature new tunes never before available on Thorens/Reuge discs. Others are close copies of old Thorens discs. We also can usually supply custom discs of any requested music for a very small additional fee. Contact us if there is a particular tune/song you would like.

We offer an unconditional 'satisfaction-guaranteed' return policy on our 4.5" discs: You may return any disc, for any reason, within seven days for full-refund less shipping.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Due to slight design changes made to Thorens Music Boxes over the years, it is not possible to make discs which are likely to play correctly on all models. We have found that we need to make discs of two types: one type for the older Thorens boxes which had exposed drive gears which were clearly visible. These models are sometimes referred to as 'Open Mechanism' movements. Later models, often referred to as 'Closed Mechanism' have a cover hiding the drive gears from sight.
